Reister + von Aspern Round 2

Reister + Von Aspern

Kay von Aspern and Christian Reister’s joint project is heading for it’s next station – Vienna. Find all details on the Website of eigensinnig Schauraum für Mode und Fotografie and the Facebook event page.

Last copies of the book are also available online.

Reister + von Aspern project

Christian Reister and Kay von Aspern show special and very offbeat moments, encounters, discoveries and nuances of every day life from the capitals of Vienna and Berlin in a joint project. Originally inspired by Natalie Opocensky and Thorsten Strasas’ Wien | Berlin exhibition last year, Seconds2Real colleagues von Aspern and Reister create their very own version of the topic by mixing and mashing some of their best photographs from recent years in one show. This joint project it is not only an exhibition project, it’s a book project also.

Read more about the book and order it here.

Check the facebook event page for the Berlin show opening in just three weeks.

Kay von Aspern featured on Lenscratch

When you think of Vienna, one doesn’t immediately think of quirky street photography, but Kay von Aspern has a gift for finding it. Born in Germany, now living in Vienna, Kay is a “Collector of Moments”.

A member of the German-Austrian street photographer collective seconds2real, Kay looks for those unique juxtapositions that can only be found with the heightened visual acuity that comes from split second observations.
